As snow-flakes rise and fall

And burn against your eyes

Tight shut against the seasons change

Leaving cold fire kisses against your cheeks

Which burn and die

Like ashes in the breath of a mist

And silver clings to woven branches

Whispering against the mirrored floor

Tracing memories in the shadows of footprints

With silhouettes dancing paths for stars

Icicles drip footpads softly in the snow

Cooling whispers fade across the face of the moon

Glowing everything that is brushed away

By winter’s fiery touch
