Rumour has it that Lady GaGa is to sing the theme song for the latest Bond movie. The 24 year old, who took the Brit Awards by storm earlier this year, looks set now to really conquer Britain. Already in negotiations with top film bosses, it seems GaGa is first choice to write and record the new theme song. According to The Sun ‘Bond bosses are all huge GaGa fans. Her sound and sense of drama make her the top’.
Although the favourite, however, Lady GaGa is not the only one in the running, with reports that Michael Bublè and Amy Winehouse have also submitted songs for consideration. Yet with her outrageous sense of style and heaps of talent, GaGa seems to have it all to take on a tough Bond ballad. If GaGa gets the gig she will write and perform the song herself, following in the legendary footsteps of those such as Madonna, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner and Alicia Keys. Bond may have licence to kill, but will they give GaGa licence to thrill?
